Apophysis and The GIMP. It's kind of fun being a squirrel in this stencilled forest, especially if you need wallpaper for notes, custom windows, and icons without covering the image.

Ha! I admit I saw the Star Trek insignia when I first glanced too (What a nerd I am!) But upon looking closer I really love the title you've given it, and can see myself in the heart of a very dense dark forest looking up and out through dark limbs and branches to light and sky above.

Beautiful luminous colorng and shapes; reminds me of a cathedral window. Wish it was cropped a little tighter or rendered a little larger so the lovely details would be clearer.
