Description

The reason I left Renderosity for a while is the way people are treated so unequally here. It is still happening. If Renderosity's monitors have no regard for people's basic Bill of Rights here, then I see no reason to continue my membership here. Our freedom of speech rights are for everyone, whether we agree with them or not. People have died defending this right. Whether you are Democrat, or Republican, or left or right on a matter, all citizens of the U. S. of America have the right to freedom of speech. Renderosity has violated this on many occasions, and mostly toward the conservative Republicans here. It has not been fair.

Yes! I couldn't agree more. Thank you for standing up for free speech. Both the President and John Kerry agree we need to heal the divisions in this country. What better place to start than the open forum that renderosity so graciously provides.

Didn't W ask people to sign an agreement before they could go to one of his campaign rallies? An agreement that asked them to waive their "basic bill of rights" (did you mean civil liberties?) AOL has a similar practice. My own ISP has a similar practice. My webhost has a similar practice. If you support W, you most likely aren't a big fan of the ACLU. Get your own website, you can say whatever you'd like without any TOS, biased or otherwise. Heck, you could have your own TOS biased the way you'd like.

This is laughable - you support a president who has given us the "Patriot" Act & who bars dissent from his campaign speeches (in my local town, 3 schoolteachers were recently ejected from a Bush rally for wearing t-shirts that said only "Protect our civil liberties" - how ironic!), yet you complain about the policy of a private, non-governmental site like Renderosity that offers you the opportunity to post your work for free? And for that matter, I have seen more right wing propaganda here at Renderosity(much of which isn't even the original work of the poster) than work from the liberal Democratic side. Don't worry, though, now that Republicans feel that this election has given them a mandate/stranglehold on our government, I'm sure we'll see a vast expansion of freedoms in this country...

Like the "zero tolerance" the democrats (the Clintons) pushed on us that abrogated all civil rights for our children? No, R'Osity has banned Republicans from this site, and not done the same for Democrats. It is clearly one sided. The least they could do is treat them equally, whichever way they prefer according to the TOS.

I love the way someone posted art requesting equal treatment for her views and people of the opposite view automatically attacked. She didnt try to start a debate about her canidate or anything, but the opposition tries to change the subject and attack her. Just another indicator that she mistreated for her views here. Why do the leftists always have to start a flame war?

Yeyyyyy...let's start a new civil war!!!!! There wasn't one in the 20thC, so let's get a good one now. No more war abraod, no: at home. So soldier can come home every night and have dinner. If they haven't fallen for justice and honor of course. Let's do it in the name of Jesus. Yes. Both sides will take Him as their spiritual leader (both ignoring that bullshit on tolerance, love, understanding and anti-violence) so we could wage war on the interpretations. Let the rest of th world take care of itself: we have our own war to fight now. And the winner may say that the war for freedom and justice has been won. A-men, A-women!

No need for war, the MAJORITY of the American public has spoken, Bush is in office again. Funny thing is about the ACLU is my 11 year old, white, lower middle class son has no rights until all the "minorities" in this Country have their "rights" first. Equal rights mean that all people are created equal, not that if you are a middle class white boy you can't get a job or scholarship because it has to go to a "minority" male or female first, even if you are better qualified, the quota has to be filled first so the ACLU doesn't file a law suit, that sucks and that's what we need changed in this Country, anybody that applies for a position should be able to get it, regardless of what they look like. I have known of employers that have been reluctant to fire a person because they were a minority, they had horrible work habits but the employers were afraid they would call the ACLU, that really sounds fair to me.

The reason the Dems haven't been banned is because after being warned they actually did what they were supposed to and shut up. They didn't start a whole new thread to frankly bitch about it. As to Affirmative Action this country isn't ready for it to be taken away otherwise there will be no intergrating that it was originally created for. I'm frankly scared that the President may now appoint a Pro-Lifer into the Supreme Court. The government has no right to say what I can and cannot do with my body. If you give them that right...what's next?

The Bill of Rights applies to the Government and not private entities/companies/homes/etc. If you disagree with the TOS of a particular provider/forum/whatever, then don't agree to them. Although, I do agree that they are biased in their selection of who gets taken down and who stays up, that is their perogative. As for healing, that is not going to happen as long as one side keeps clinging to "disenfranchisment" and other labeling people as "bigots" and "hate mongers" simply because they didn't see things the way they did. We voted for Bush because we are "backwoods", "inbred", "slack jowled yokels" who are a bunch of "bigots", "homophobes", and "war mongers". It's time we just accept it and move on because the other side is NEVER going to see it any differently as long as we have the audacity to disagree with their omnipotent view of life. Someone has to take the first step in moving forward to a more comfortable balance, and I'm willing to embrace the labels (although they do NOT apply to me or my family) simply to get past it and get on with it. I can be "disenfranchised" and "targeted" and no one cares. I've accepted that and I'm dealing with it. I have given up trying to change their closed minds. It's not going to happen. All I can do is live my life to the best of my ability and raise my children to not be so quick to put people in a box. (By the way, I am not an Evangelical Christian or even a Christian. But the truth doesn't matter here, does it?)
