Description

Hmmm Not quite sure where to take this one, 2B pencil on heavy weight smooth surface cartridge paper ... the reflections are a bit wrong ... the top of the tree needs to be sorted out ... etc. Thanks for all previous comments, critique is welcomed!

I love how the tree is .. it is certainly one you must go on with ! But I agree with duncanlong it could stay the way it is. On the other hand I bet you have something more in you for this so let it out ! ... It is excellent work so far !

To me it is finished, It does not need more to clutter it, it is a fine image, and to know when to stop, is a gift. Ecclelent Lina

I could accept this as finished too. The lonliness of the tree-thingey underlines the surreality...

Well, if you develop it, I wouldn't go TOO far... at the moment the focal point stands out very well from the negative space around it :-)

Well, I am not an artist, but IMO you should not change anything. It is wonderful just like it is. I love the tree and the sparse landscape.

I agree with the others that say don't go too much farther with this, it looks great already, really intriguing, good focus & use of negative space, very nice work!

I like it as is too. You could maybe do something with the shadows, but I wouldn't touch the top of the tree. I really like the composition and variation in detail across the image; and the level of light grey is rather lovely.

I can almost see shapes of women or people in the tree. You know it's kinda Dali-esque!!! Excellent!!!

LIKE IT! I do adore pencil drawings and it's something I enjoy doing in PSP/PS as well - only recently started to do this sort of thing on the computer! Do you know I have a thought! With something like this, wouldn't it be fun for lots of us to be able to take this as a base, and then each add our own thing to it, then see what differing results we would get?
