Description
Apophysis, heavily filtered using plugins in IrfanView.
The deep scoring reminded me of a low-orbit view of mountain ranges, but I thought the washed out flag colours provided an unusual counterpoint to such realism.

Whew, I'm glad you provided a little explanation! At first, all I saw was the title and the image itself and my first thought was this artist is depicting the next four years, a nation bled dry and on relief. So very glad I'm wrong. The embossing is excellent and the coloring does a great job of fulfilling your intentions. I am reminded of an infrared-type (or maybe radar) image of mountain ranges viewed from space. Excellent work!

there seem to be leaf imprints in this - this looks like a creation using thick paint - various tools, blending and leaves!
