Very funny satirical piece, but a very sad situation. How pathetic that millions of sanctimonious "evangelicals" voted away their civil liberties & ceded their country to megacorporations in order to keep gay couples from marrying!

It's amazing how stupid people can act when driven by fear. I've already had friends from outside the States state they are concerned for the future of the States not just with Shrub and Dick, but who the country votes in next. They can not understand how the America they know would keep Shrub.

Talk about crash an burn.hypocrisy...Clinton urged kerry to support the ban on gay marriage,Kerry supported and even voted for the patriot act,and if your so afraid of christians stop having your candidates stump at churches. You can either continue to bitch an moan,or work to regain the respect the democrat party has lost. Because as kerry quoted:"these folks from Jeremiah who, we are reminded, they have eyes but they don't see and they have ears but they don't hear." and "faith without works,is dead"

News reports in Australia Friday said Canberra and Washington were working on a defense training agreement which included multi-million dollar upgrades of Australian defense facilities and the weapons testing...There also would be experimentation with self-guided smart bombs and live or "dummy" bombing raids into Australia from U.S. aircraft carriers, he said. Meanwhile, In New Jersey: Fighter jet strafes New Jersey school Little Egg Harbor Intermediate School is cordoned off after it was fired on Wednesday night. LITTLE EGG HARBOR, New Jersey (AP) -- The target was an object on the ground well within the confines of the Warren Grove firing range, a 2,400-acre scrub pine expanse used by the military to train pilots in bombing and strafing techniques. But when the heavy gun in the left wing of an Air National Guard F-16 fighter jet fired Wednesday night, it sent 25 rounds of 20mm ammunition smashing through the roof and zinging off the asphalt parking lot of the Little Egg Harbor Intermediate School 3 1/2 miles from the range. Ooooops. Captor, the ban on Gay marriage won't stand up. I understand the thought of it makes many peoples skin crawl, but when it comes right down to it, it denies civil rights based on gender. Conditional freedom isn't really freedom.

The sad part is, that even though this was meant as satire, it really wouldn't surprise too much me if it actually happened. Excellent point about the gun deaths, also! I'm really starting to get concerned about the sanity of my countymen.

Hey peeps, keep the faith! I joke about it because in the end I think we'll come out fine. Progress never happens in a straight line - it's always something like "two steps forward, one step back". I think we're just having our step back - look at how far we've come in the west ... women can vote and work, no more slavery, apartheid gone, gays are less harassed now than in the past, children aren't sent to work in coal mines ... we just have to keep our eyes on the buggers to keep them from eroding our civil liberties too much so we can move forward again ...

There are no guns mounted in the wings of the F-16 fighter. It has one 20mm vulcan mounted in the fuselage.

Correct there are no guns on the wings. The ammo drum is located just aft of the cockpit, with the ammo loading access door in the bottom half of the starboard wing, next to the air intake. The gun itself is located in the upper port side of the fuselage, with the gun port on the port side of the cockpit.
