Description
i was really just playing around in illustrator, and i did this. i've never done crosshatching and stuff like this before, so please tell me what's wrong and how to improve. her furry coat-thing isn't really shaded, i was thinking that'd probably solve itself once i get around to colouring it.
title refers to the song "not a pretty girl" by ani difranco, because i thought it suited the image. (i ain't no damsel in distress, and i don't need to be rescued-)

good work - i don't know exactely what to do better... looks great to me and as far as i dare to give a comment on the cross-hatching... it's good !
