A Photo I took at Hoh Rainforst during my last visit there earlier this year. I was tempted to eat this big orangish tree growth, who knows, maybe I would have seen some cool galaxies, or something even more or less cool...but I decided against it. I know nothing of this sort of shroom/mushroom/fungi kind of deal. All I know is that some mushrooms are tasty, some not, some have mind-altering effects, some can even kill or cause severe life-threatening illness, and even taste good and get you high too. Or not. Nothing to play with unless one is expert in matters of shroom unlike me. Always cunsult w/such a shroom expert in the wild. Too many varieties. Don't trust a book.... Photographing such fungi and shroom matter is generally safe, just don't use an ultraviolet filter or macro setting...the spores may get up in there and jump up your nose....play it safe. this is a staight-up unmodified photo..but I admit I used PSP8 to touch it up a bit. Nothing like a new-age digitally altered work of photography. Thanks for looking, -Peace :-)
