Description

Canon 10D + Sigma 105mm EX Macro ISO 200 1/90 sec f3.5 How can gold possibly become more valuable as it wears away? I've not been around for a while, but thought it high time I post something if only to keep myself going. I won't be posting or commenting like I used to...but hope to start again in a limited form - I've missed all of you and your work far too much not to. Also, if you have time and inclination, my homepage is now live - www.themisc.co.uk My best wishes to all.

Its about damn time you show your face around here again :P Though I shouldn't really say that... I haven't been around much either.. I'm not too keen on gold (cuz it reminds me of the Catholic church.. but thats another story :P), but this shot is fantastic.. and so is your website ;)

Welcome back dear friend, you have been missed in great proportions! Open armed virtual hug I was so stoked to get the e-bot of your post! Your piece has an interesting leathery textural look with unusual markings ... reminds me of something mexican or US Indian!

:)))) Beautiful abstract... The texture looks so nice, soft and chocolaty and the gold weared in the foreground sparkles wonderfully in the back... I have a strange feeling I've seen this one before... :)))

You're all so lovely. Lalani - thanks for the shameless praise of my site (I'll pay you later) - in my opinion, it's no better than www.macro-world.com...now who made that...? Akinom...so lovely to see you...and you're too kind. addiek!!! it's wonderful to see you...how have you been? As for the texture...indeed it is leather, but it is actually moroccan

Niutek - hmm...to be honest, when I took this, it felt like i'd seen it before as well...but I get that with quite a few images...I think some are wired into human existance...and soft warm brown leather should definitely be one of those images ;) Soulie - so lovely to see you...and thank you...I can't wait to start commenting on your shots.
