Description
In response to the RR friend that spanked me for not posting more frequently. This is one I shot recently but hesitated to post because I felt it a bit "stiff".
It's a few things reminding me of fall that I arranged on my late Grandfather's (mother's side) desk.
As kids in Ohio we would shuck field corn for "corning" at halloween (I assume you all know what that is). Should probably have included a bar of soap to cover "soaping" the windows of those that didn't treat.
The slightly garish stein I picked up during Octoberfest in Germany. In Ohio Pumpkins, gourds and fall flowers abound and around this time of year my Grandfather (father's side) would make apple butter outside in a HUGE cauldron with a crackling wood fire beneath it. I can still smell the leaves we burned and the brisk fall air.

I am with susan I want that desk lol susan should we bid for it lol: This is very lovely totally wonderful and gives people ideas for photo's as I have done a few and like you felt a little "STIFF"?but not!! its far from that its wonderful (did I say that alreadylol) yes! vote

I love the rich reflections and variations in lighting. Maybe it is a bit stiff because your subjects are so perfectly situated, and each piece is so well presented, but that adds to the picture's charm.
