Description
A small portrait of a WWI French infantryman, nicknamed in the lingo of the day as a Poilu, politely translated to mean a "hairy SOB". It's a study of a poilu at night, waiting to go up the line, maybe at Verdun? It looks as if he has a lot on his mind, n'est pas? (Many thanks to the kind souls who provided the freebies that I used to make this render.)

WW1 is of interest to me being a amateur historian. The helmet well done! almost photographic with lighting. As for the head? the eyes very rough looking and you should have devouted more time to facial hair than a monotone one colour stock airbrush tool.
