after experimenting with vector art, got a little bored and saw a stunning 3d forest render by Abreu:

Thought it suited the elf pretty well, since she deserved a background, decided to make one for her :) viola... need to learn more bout textures tho. mmm credits to krys for the original inks. Touched her up a little but basically she's still the same elf:P Comments welcome as always :)

Beautiful colors, but the trace needs a little improvement. Needs adjustments too in the round face and the cloth, but its is very easy ^_^.

yup i know... intended to improve on the folds of the cloth but oh well.. got lazy :P

The cloth isn't perfect, but it's very good. I wish I could get results like that with cloth.
