Description

Well, we've taken a quantum leap journey from Eden's soft summer breezes out into the void of space- somewhere deep in the galaxy, to a world very old, very distant, and rather inhospitable. I couldn't give you the age of this erroding green planet- suffices to say it's fairly long in the tooth. Amongst the piles of green shale-like debris, some sort of caustic chemical soup is leeching up through the surface. (warning; do not dip your feet in these puddles, no matter how fun it might seem) That big guy over to the right, that's where the locals live. But they don't have space travel yet, so their safe from this little corrosive playground for now. A little sci fi fun with Terragen, Lunarcell and PS for adjustments and signature. Original terrain from Terraformer 2. I hope you enjoy it, and if you feel like it, leave a comment. I deeply appreciate the glowing comments for the last 3 images based on the terrain for Eden.

Fantastic! Love the terrain and atmosphere, very strange and alien and yet it still looks like a very inviting place to visit even if I can't go swimming!

Paul, this work is a masterpiece. The lighting has accentuated the surfaces to the extent that the picture has a 3D effect. This one is going into my FAVs file. This truly excellent work!!!

An excellent scene with great terrain, surfacing and lighting. Did you have the same problem as me with the sky falling short of the land horizon and leaving a straight-edged gap?
