Well the close-up is outstanding. Although it may look better with some darker shadows from her hair. Eye's are pretty good, but maybe a tad watery - can you put some sss in there? Dunno if I'm too keen about the dark rim around her lips - but I guess that's in the texture. Her actually skin texture is absolutely photo quality when combined with your C4D sss. Her hands don't look like they belong to her! They look like someone elses (too big?). Her left hand doesn't seem to be touching her face (not enough shadows). But these are tiny points in an overall top quality render.

Very good points, perhaps the reason of the hands is the white line around, I was experimenting with a few setting adding fresnel I did forgett sss on the eyes it might have helped toning the reflection a little I'll keep that in mind. Anyway thanks for the helpful comment :)

i love the watery eye. i can see with the hands, they don't seem to match the texture, but thats not your fault now is it! as well, i HATE the dark lip line, eww. eww eww. the portrait is BEAUTIFUL though. i love the closeup, i feel that is a stronger peice.

This is an outstanding render. The character is very beautuful, and the detail is great. The close-up is awesome. I agree with Dash about the hands.

I'm not quite sure why, but the hands don't do it for me. They look like they have been tacked on rather then rendered into the scene. They also come across as somewhat masculine - sans the finger nails of course!

I think, the hands are right size, but the missing shadows make the scene look odd. Also, a bump mapping would have improved this image greatly to more realism. She looks like having plastic skin.

This is absolutely beautiful Dash! I too think the hands/head look a bit odd with the white around them, instead of a dark shadow, however I dont think they look as bad as some have said here. A lot of it is Personal Prefs, same as in the lip liner. As far as Bumps, I strongly dissagree with specs2. Chris (specs2) has a thing for bumps & Im assumming this is because he has never been abel to achieve this level of detail without bumps, but if your photos are highly detailed, as these were & you carry that detail to your textures, as I did, you can play with MATS to achieve more or less levels of detail. :o) You know Dash, I think you are the TOP C4D Renderer that I've seen. Your images always carry top quality, class, & even elegance with that photographic quality! I guess Im still your number 1 fan!! I love the fact that you take chances & try new things. This shows that your very comfortable as an artist & not affraid to expand your skills or try new things. A lot of artists find one thing that gets them recognized & are affraid to expand further because they are affraid of rejection. One can only expand if they expirement, but one must be comfortable with themselves as well as with thier art! Thank you Dash, for yet another beautiful render. I appreciate you taking the time to do it! V
