I think that a little more battle damage to all the ships would be a little more realistic. The sails on all the ships would be shot through or shredded with cannon ball shots. And some of the ships might show part or all of a mast missing. Maybe show the sinking ship with more damage, including smashed masts, shredded sails, etc. Even with the obvious look of a battle in progress, it is too clean. A fleet battle might last hours or days, with all combatants showing the visible signs of battle. Also, is the ship on fire been fired on by other ships of the fleet, because they all have the British flags flying? Or was she fighting another ship and these are coming to her rescue? It is unclear....
