My first attempt at using poser and rendering anything. Hope you like it...comments welcome.

Now this is very, very good for a first render - heck, it is very good as a 50th render! Lighting and shadows are very well done, her feet are firmly planted on the ground, and the texture on that cauldron is fantastic! A tip for the fire (assuming you are using Poser 5): connect the Ambient entry of the root node to a color math node, set the color math function to multiply and make both colors white, connect one of the entries of the color math node to the fire texture and the other to the fire transmap. Then set the Ambient color to white and the ambient value to a value greater than zero (0.5 can be a good starting point). That'll give you a nice bright fire.
