Well, this is a bit different for me... Hope it's ok to post this in the terragen gallery--it's about 50/50 terragen & photoshop. If not, sorry--just let me know! :) I wanted to try a space scene, so I spent a good bit of time trying to find a terrain to give me the right look in terragen, then surfacing it to look cold & "spacey"...not to mention working the sun to cast the right shadows so it would match what I wanted to do in the sky. It was fun & I got some photoshop practic in, if nothing else! LOL Hope you enjoy it--thanks for looking! :) (terrain is wildcat canyon, CO---the "earth" in the background is a pic from deviantart that is meant to be used as a layer in photoshop. rest is painted)

This is really gorgeous!! All the textures work very well together and the depth of the image is wonderful. Did you create the frame in PS or Terragen? I think I should look into purchasing PS soon. I see a lot of people using it for post work as well as creating texture maps and so forth. A lot of the time I really wish I had a paint & imaging program to throw a scene into. I am now only using Vue 5 which is a wicked program with lots of potential, but PS would open a lot more doors. All the scenes I've posted so far were done Vue 4. Anyways, I'm babbling. This is an amazing work of art for your first space scene. I hope to see many more from you. Take care. ~ Ryan
