This is my first creation with Terragen. A lake that is 11 miles across.

Your surfaces are nice and varied for a beginner; nice water, if a bit dark - you've been brave in showing your first scene in daylight (rather than at sunset as a silhouette), which is brave, and I think you've pulled it off nicely! Looking forward to seeing more of your stuff!

Welcome here :)! Really a great pic for a first try. Agree with Eion about the surface. Maybe try some transparency for the water.
