Hm i like the terrain and the water very much... however i find it a bit too dusty, might be just a personal opinion ;) Maybe if you'd put the sun a bit lower.. to the cloud in the background, you could get some nice rays out of it, dunno exactly though :) All in all i like the picture, it's great^^

It looks the sun rays go straight into the camera lens... It adds the realism, but does not improve the image itself;) Maybe some cover around the lens to make the image less "dusty" (as Thanados wrote:)? And some green on the nearest rock? Just personal views, as you mentioned, to look from different perspective...

Nice pov (although be careful with the end of the terrain) and rocky surface; reduce the sun glow settings, and start adding more surface layers; you're definitely on the right track here!
