What a marvellous shot you have taken of these ducks, Jacinthe. They wait to see who will first enter the icy water? They are just like people waiting to cross the snow and slush ( icy wet snow ) in the street. I find this photo ideal for contemplation. Do we change, as the seasons do? Yes. We change as the years roll by. Hopefully we are wiser, kinder, more forgiving. Thanks, John.

I find humor in this shot along with the beauty...as if the ducks come out for their morning plunge, only to discover that their pond has frozen over during the night, one looking one way up the pond, the other two looking the other way , not knowing what to do now! []/;^)

Kind of funny the way all the geese are looking sort of lost. Like they have lost the water to play in. Beautiful!
