Description
A little more whimsy, but with a cause.
I needed the "Go Directly to Jail" card for a texture of an image that I will be creating tomorrow in Strata 3D. I spent waaaay too long on this (but needed it and couldn't risk scanning the real card and modifying it -- don't want to infringe on the copyright). I've only got two days left to finish this project, and may be hard pressed to get it all done the way I want. I may have to cut a few corners here and there... We'll see.
I made the cop yesterday by tweaking and adjusting the Barney model that came with P5 (and Pro Pack). Hat is by PoserWorld. Gramps is the stock P5/PP figure.
Note that the arm on the 3D render is not really visible here. In reality, his arm shoots straight out and grabs Gramps from the top. In b&w, though, this didn't look right so I drew the arm in Photoshop. Also, notice that the gun is missing and the badge on the hat is different (more PS post work). I converted the render to line art by adjusting the levels and using the Stamp filter in PS7. That, and a lot of hand tweaking and clean up little details, like Barney's chin... I bent the card with the Liquify tool. I'm slowly getting better with this tool, and I'm beginning to enjoy using it.
I'm mostly happy with this little bit of whimsy. Now, on to the rest of the project!
