The flag it waves forever more
Because our soldiers went to war
They fought for freedom everywhere
With all their heart with no despair
But to the ear they hear the cries
Of moms and dads of years gone by
Wondering if they will return
To share the freedom so well earned

And so this year on Veterans Day
Pray for soldiers far away
Let them hear your loud felt prayer
And bring them back for you ,for me,
Remember freedom is never free
