Description

the "postcard" improved: terrain, texture and ligthing it is a bit a homage to "Sahm", on of my favorite painters (it really does not reach his paintings, far away) I hope, you like it thanks for viewing your comments

What a beautiful valley!! I love the way you can see where the melted snow runs down the mountains into the lakes! Brilliant work!

There is so much in this picture!!! The depth is wonderful! The lighting in the distance is just fantastic the way it highlights the distant mist. The surfacing is very convincing and like environaut said the snow run thingos add to the realism. Love also the reflection of the mountain in the lake at the bottom of the valley - nice touch. This is AWESOME one of my favourites.

Very beautiful. A wonderful full landscape view. from the peaks, to the small lower level terrain features. Excellent work.

Aptly titled; so beautiful! Awesome perspective and depth, and the lighting, shadowplay and hazy atmosphere are excellent. Fantastic terrain and impressive surface work, and I love the water..way down there.

Indeed, it does look like a postcard! Great lighting and haze, and surfaces as well.

I love the POV..the misty vally is great...as well as the run-off coming from the mountains. Very creative idea. Not sure about the snow...but the grass/rock surface is great.

Lighting is really magical. Love the sky and terrain and surfaces. For some reason, this doesn't look as sharp as some of your recent work. Maybe my memory is poor, too. Still excellent.
