Description
Another Carrara render with revised lighting. Trying for that time in an RPG when you are just starting out -- young, lightly armed, more inclined to run than to fight.
DAZ Pre-Teen Girl, Handspring's "Cecelia" texture, Studio Maya's "Yuna" hair. Gallery decorum forbids I say more.

This is great. The only comment I have is that I feel there should be flames in the torches. I like very much the way the light catches the girl's face.

Very nice lighting. You have achieved your goal I think!

I really like this image, I always wonder what lies around the corner. The lighting is super but the lack of flames in the torches is distracting.

Y'know, you're right. When I first created this the torches weren't a light source. I added a little glow to give some interest, then a little later I cranked that up...never remembering I hadn't made them with flames in the first place. But then, the pencil sketches showed more of the corrider and a wooden door that was the secondary focus. Oh, well. That's one spot down the corridor, Skylight coming through a doorway behind her, a special on her face and another on the torch. GI run up to 4,000 photons (any less and the floor got splotchy). And the walls are nothing but a tweaked preset. :(

great scene, and a nice lighting effects.

The pose work is pretty good - you have achieved the tentative first step look - not a bold fighter striding into the unknown, but more a "is the floor going to give way under me on this step.. oh no I forgot my floor tester stick..." kind of feel. Lighting (bar the aforementioned flames) looks pretty good I think. Good stuff.

By the way, nice gallery, nomuse. I have Amapi, but am still a big newbie... The scene here is well rendered, but lacks some noise. I think you've seen that before.
