I was playing with trying to learn backlighting. Any tips would be much appreciated! I've never tried it before, so any advice I'd very much like. I really like the texture on the wings. I have been playing with lighting since I saw one of your images recently. I think the hardest part is getting the ambient or front lighting to not over power the back lighting. I think you do wonderfully with lighting. Voted

Soft and ephemeral but I'd like to see them without 'human' clothing...perhaps a folded wingtip or equally diaphanous material or fog shroud...they are so beautiful!

Superb,as all you do is brilliant Ive got to stop the tips train lol!Really impressive Diana,as for backlighting I work with the 150 radial in the b/g pretty close to the characters.Then you get the edgeing and just enhance the brightest points of the figures edges.I learnt this through toxics poser tut,convert it to bryce also!!:-))I think you nailed it here with out any help!Bye calum hugs(ps the cloth work on your character is taking me yonks!!)
