Description
Doing more experimenting.Tarzan's face was done in the face room and just used Don's body. I can't seem to get the hang of the lights thing. To me lighting always looks bad. Right now they look like they are floating in the air. Gotta work on that. I used Koz Male hair5 and the Big Face lion from 3d Dimensions. Same old Jane from first render. Worked on her hair a little and cured her case of eyelid rot. Found the eyelashes too.

Nice work. Make sure you have shadows turned on your lights and you're doing a production render not draft - you should get shadows then, even with the default lighting setup.

Very nice for your second post.My recommendation for lighting is to check out the free light sets at RDNA. They have a great selection with a lot of variety that I use alot. Keep up the good work and feel free to ask for advice we are very friendly folk here. Bruce

Very cool posing. The suggestions everyone gave on lighting should help. Keep them coming... I love your lion...

Jen... great scene! Your characters, poses and expressions are excellent. The lighting looks good too! It looks like you used just a background image. If that is the case you will NEVER get shadows on it in Poser. The background will NOT accept shadows, no matter what you do. You have a couple options. You can postwork shadows in with your 2d paint program. There's a great tutorial at Daz Arcana that shows how to do this. Daz just rearranged their site, and I couldn't find the tutorial. Give them a few days.. then look under SUPPORT-TUTORIALs... it should be in a postwork section. The other option is to use something like Daz's Cyclorama... or Daz's Millineum Environment. Both of these include 2 props(at least) a) a background plane that you can map an image to... and b) a ground plane that also accepts an image (like grass etc) There are lots of images available you can use.. or you can use your own. Both of these WILL accept shadows. Check out the Daz Environment here: http://www.daz3d.com/shop.php?op=itemdetails&item=2080 Its only 1.99 if you're a member of the platinum club. Keep up the good work... Kent
