I currently work in a number of medium, mainly computer arts the past five years but I am originally a colored pencil artist, (Lifetime Member CPSA), and have been published a number of times both digitally and in hard copy book form as a contributor artist.
I have a kind of large web site that has been around since 1999. Check it out!

Well, trees growing on naked rock makes the image look quite surreal to me.Nevertheless very refreshing to see some plants in a Voyager picture. Love the surface!

Really good first attempt! I have been looking for appropriate ways to do just that--incorporate trees and plants. Perhaps some helpful suggestions: the plants are quite saturated in color compared to the landscape (which you may intended to be sureal) you cold knock that back a bit and maybe brush a little dirt or grass in around the base of some of the trees. Prerhaps a different blend mode or a little transparency through the leaves? I guess it will depend on what works and how these were made, PSP or painter tube? I know very little about those, but I think there are adjustments for that kind of thing. Really an impressive first composit.

Thank you for your comments you guys. I agree with you. The lighting color contrasts need to be a little bit more compatible... and Eonite is very cool to point out the contrast of rock and plants... After a while I will have it all dialed in. I am using trees from Carrara Studio 3 and then if I need to I adjust the curve or contrast.brightness in Photoshop pn the layer that the tree is on individually. This is the first attempt I have two others working up. I have really wanted to develop some AM and AMV art that is more than the beautiful raw output as captured while searching AM and AMV. I am beginning to use more forethought while building scenes in AMV for that purpose so that what I do to it after I have rendered it jibes a lot better.
