Good start. Some observations: Keep in mind that the gunports are all on the same level, aligned, with a gradual curve as they progress down the hull. The upper ports on the open weather deck are a little large, almost the same size as the gundeck ports. They should be a little smaller and better aligned. Yours here are a little haphazard. Is the hull done in sections or swept as one object? It seems to have some smoothing issue in the central/aft section, which can translate through the wood texture you will apply later. Overall, the hull looks good, but the ship looks a little too thick. I would be interested to see the plans you are using, I think the hull needs to be slimmer, more streamlined.

If you hold to this level of detail, this is gonna be a monster major project. I did one of these out of wood...3 years (should've been longer). Eagerly await the finished product Good Luck!!
