Description

One day last week I heard a bang on my window beside my workingplace, and when I looked outside there was this beautiful but dead bird lying on the ground, a waxwing I think it is called in English. I took him in, still warm, to admire the beauty of him. I managed to take some photos while my cat was out. Ohhhh...poor little beautiful bird! A photo of him I posted to the 2D Forum: http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=12358&Form.ShowMessage=1991557 I thought he deserved a tribute, so I made this image of him. Thanks for viewing and comments

I'm so glad you added this to your gallery Gun, your use of colour & light in this image is outstanding, striking yet understated, the intensity & richness of your composition make a perfect tribute to such an exquisite little bird.

Beautiful tribute, caring and sensitive thoughts. I agree with bevchiron....and the composition is particularly appropriate for both. Touching.

Soon after i saw this i picked up my Art book, which is just a compilation of masters from the past exposing all mediums and highlighting some of the great. I looked because i remember there was this artitst who always did birds and the colors strongly reminded me of him or her i dont know if it's a girl. It's a pretty big book and i was thinking im not going to find this as i pulled it from my shelf// anyways the first page my thumb and forefinger revealed as the pages fell open was THAT page i was like well i wasnt even going to leave a comment only thinking of it and then this happened. The artists name is Carel Fabritius. They say he was the most brilliant of rembrandt's pupils. This is great i dont know if you painted it or what but its great. Renderosity would not be the same experience for me without you. Cya :)
