Yes, it's true. On the internet, I'm a rather dull, mild-mannered digital artist, but in real life, I am actually Superfrog.
"Faster than a speeding dragonfly, stronger than a flathead catfish. Able to leap ten hungry alligators in a single bound. Look! Out in the swamp! It's a bird. It's a boat. It's Superfrog!"

For me, ideas are like butterflies that are flittering around by the dozens. Just grab one and render it, then move on to the next.
BIO:
I began 3D art with Bryce 3 in April 1999. Before that I played with various 2D styles and techniques. Back in the mid-70's and 80's, I worked in metal sculpture and had a line of "frog prints" selling in stores all over Southern California and Arizona. I have been in art in some capacity since childhood. Since the computer came along, I 've pr3etty much lost touch with brushes, pens and pencils which I regret.

Just talking about drive in movies a few weeks ago. They were the best! Loads of fun for everyone. THanks for the trip to the past. :)

Wonderfully interesting and surreal concept! I like it very much. It is sad to see the days of the drive in go, I have good memories of it. Times change, and your art captures that well.

I just totally love your work! This is particularly great. It reminds me of sitting on the wall as a kid watching a movie on the big screen until they sold the drive-in to put up a mini-mall. ACK! Keep up the wonderful work you are inspiring!
bonestructure
actually, more drive ins were built and reopened last year than in the last 20 years. Now if we could just get the studios to reinstitute the drive in B movie system again.

Excellent! Maybe the car should be a bit more in the front of the scene to see it more clearly. Congrats!

Wow, they sure have been waiting a long time. When's the movie start? Did you pick up some mosquito coils? How far to the concession stand? Can we find another spot, this speaker's not working...an era all its own. Wonderful details in the pic.

Wonderful conception expertly realised with vivid colours. It's so sad, I'm going to mix myself a sundowner.

Nice job! I remember seeing a movie at the 65-HI Drive-In in Blaine, MN, when I was little. I think that one's been lost to developers too. I think Cottage Grove is still open though -- of course right now all they're showing is "Closed for the Winter: The Blank Screen" :-)
