Description

The ridge of Binnein an Fhidleir (The fiddler) dominates the northside of Glen Kinglas for over 10Km. The "walk" to its summit is some 800 meters almost straight up, before reaching the ridge where the gradient is not quite so demanding. ^^^/\/\^^^ This is the view I had from about halfway up looking to Loch Restil at the top of the "Rest & be Thankful". Tommorow I will post the view from the lochside looking back up to "The Fiddler" The sunlight ridge on the right leads up Beinn an Lochain, a favourite winter outing of mine.

What's the next stop after 'rest and be thankful'?... 'trudge on delerious'???. Congrats on a beautifully composed shot... that water isn't from the pfiddler, it's a decent sized loch - check the road & car! Awesome! VOTE!

Well, come on AANGUS, was it as wet and damp up there as it looks? Great shot, but good photographers suffer for their art, do they not. Thanks for showing us the Scotland, that ( outside of calendar art ) we are never likely to see, now that our legs have gone. Regards, John.
