I can almost hear the Indiana Jones theme music. Like the colors, the mysterious silhouettes. And as stories go, I would instantly want to know what happens next. Details you might want to consider: Motion Blur on your propellor. (Unless you're saying the engine konked out) In any case, probably wouldn't want the landing gear down, unless the plane lands in the next five minutes. P-40 was pretty heavy and the pilot wouldn't want that extra drag. I'm also just a little confused about the sun showing through the giant pedastal or is it something else besides the sun? Good Luck.

I agree about the motion blur. The rest is quite lovely. The colors are marvelous.

Perhaps a little more tantalizing detail on the city structures ahead? They look very mysterious, but it's unclear whether they're cliffs or towers / buildings. A few subtle hints to the viewer would be the icing on the cake. But the mood you've created here is simply wonderful as it is. Fantastic!

Very mysterious - love the colours and atmosphere. The water mat is excellent too. Just needs some radial blur on the prop :-) Might look good having a little bit of lens flare coming from the sun too.

...aside from the beauty of it and the intrigueing story behind it, the plane looks a bit dark... some more detail on it would improve the image.
