Hello! My name is Jodie. I live in Minnesota where the temps can fluxuate by 20 degrees in one day. Most of my photos have been taken very close to my home, a 10 acre hobby farm., where I raise Alpacas and chickens. I am a band director, a musician/singer and a photographer/adviser on the yearbook committee. My camera of choice is a Nikon. I have a D90 and a D70. I also have a SB800 flash and favorite lens is Nikon 18-200mm AF-S, with VR. Revisiting the visual arts is something I should have done years ago. If I see something remarkable, I just try to capture it. Nobody else will ever see it quite that way again so I hope you try that, too. This is just like expensive therapy for us. Thank you for visiting and may you have a peaceful day!

It's a great photography of a very beauty chapel. It's sourprising it's modernity (1905 was the year of the born of my grandmother(QEPD)) and its louminousity.

I'm new here & I've been perusing your work, and have to stop simply because I must go & work. But I wanted to tell you that 1) I've been drawn in again and again as I've looked, 2) the journey has been wonderful, and 3) your sense of texture, form, and the sense of revelation you get from one event, one presence, one light is lovely to watch...how you find something that sheds light over the whole and let it sing....You're a generous photographer, and you have an almost painterly sense of color. Also, being a classical musician of many years, I appreciate the musical pictures. (I've never seen a horn look so like a jewel.) I was drawn here by "mtc's" photo of a young monk, which was dedicated to you: I now see why you were chosen. I'll return. Touching & vivid work. So glad I found it...
