Me and my beloved sailor...never so far apart....never so close.

Although I've been a member here a long time, I have had little opportunity these past few years to savor the joy of posting my art and commenting on the work of those I admire and have had a friendship with. Family and medical has taken precedence in my life, even to the point of not being able to sit long enough at a computer to work. So now that things are looking a bit brighter and I am feeling better, I hope to once again post and comment! I have so missed this circle of talented people with their warmth of soul and passion of art. -- Feb. 22 ' 08

Wow - powerful prose! Particularly like 'follow your own less traveled soulway' and I couldn't agree more that civilization does have a way of sinking its teeth into our tender artist's hearts. Exceptional writing. :o) CC

Wonderful piece. Vote. When you find the person who was meant to be, do tell me how you did it. I'm in desperate need of such wisdom.

Awesome! I've literally got goosebumps from reading your prose. There's so much imagery and wisdom, not to mention food for thought. I maintain you have such a golden touch with words, and this is a shining example. Brilliant writing!

Funny how your words remind me so much of something Kieric wrote to me last autumn. Then again, birds of a feather! hehe Fantastic Poem Sweetheart!
