Description
Why not show off what I do for my day job? I work for a civil engineering firm. One of my job responsibilities is to take an engineering drawing and make it look good for presentations, exhibitions and hearings. This is a color site plan I did for a client. The programs used to create this image are Autocad 2005 and M-Color (which works inside autocad). I love my job, I get to make pretty pictures all day :-)
Cheers,
Davo

Heila... this remeber my job too, lol but I'm landscape architect. Excellent quality of the drawing, easy to read and not too much clors or a "loud" result. Only a crit... with the orange (main building) I found strange to see some ground part in pink... another warm gray eventuallty would be better...

Hi guys, thanks for your kind words! The pink ground area is actually a paved plaza area, if this image were largerer, you could see the detail, but it's shrunk down. One of the other problems I face when creating this type of work is that the screen colors don't match what comes out on the color plotter when it's printed, so I have to work off of a printed hard copy pallet with the actual colors. When printed, the paver area is actually a warmer gray as you suggest. Some day, all the periferal devices will match... maybe? heh heh..
