My first Poser Scene Render!
I realized after messing with the lights for a couple of hours, that it could take months to learn the idiosyncracies of lighting and camera in this program. I couldn't get the right balance of light between her face and the guitar strings...either face was too dark or strings too fat. Any suggestions?

That is very cool! Your light work is comming along nicely! I usually play with light 2, and just go till it feels right. That is my take on lights, kinda a cop out I know, but that is what I do! LOL! I do love that pose too!

Wow Jerry, this is a splendid composition... excellent pose and expression ! Sometimes I correct the lighting with Photoshop filter or I paint a ray of light... it's just a suggestion :) Most excellent work ! Bravissimo, jeune homme :) !!

Yup, Poser lights take some getting used to. What probably would work here is aiming a second spotlight at her face, with a wide angle and from rather close by. Great posing! And the dress dynamics look perfect. Excellent work!

First of all, I love this portrait! The pose is "Perfect" and that's not easy! As to the lighting, just add another light for ambience (Turn off cast shadows, unless you want a secondary shadow) and place it to the lower right, and keep the output low. Even without the additional light, this is a great image!!
