Description
I am currently working on a 3D model of H. P. Lovecraft's Geat Cthulhu. I will tell you this and you probably won't believe me, but this model (excluding the tentacles) was made using only V2's standard morph targets! It's true... I swear. There is a shrunken version of the DAZ octapuss inside the head.
The color is off and the textures I made for it are useless because I have so severely warped the original form. Does anyone know a way around this? Is there a way to creat a texture template for the model in this configuration??? Help...

Great start. The head looks a little bulbus to me. And tentacles (dif text) hanging outa the mouth would add. Since H.P never gave discription of Cthulu or any of the other demons your interpation is as good as any one elses. I always saw Cthulu as horrucally fat with bare a reconizable human form..but thats just me. Great work so far, love to see more. UV mapper does what you want I think http://www.uvmapper.com/ IMHO Jon

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, he probably should be more blobby, but I've been drawing him this way for a long time so it's kind of stuck in my head. The description of the idol in the story mentions he is squatting with his hands on his knees so he must be at least vaguely human in form.
