Description

A closer look at the atmosphere revealed that what was first thought to be water was actually a thick layer of liquid hydrogen. The viscous shell covering the planet makes it appear to be solid when in fact its a planet sized ball of super cold jelly ... it seemed to be on the very brink of being organic... the spacesuit is by Alexander Kroener (didnt see you on the list!)

Thanks everyone for veiwing and for your very kind words! The starfeild in the background is one the many backgrounds found in the freestuff area ( I think the right lighting with a background makes alot of difference). The image is a part of a project I'm working on (Neptune Alpha), and I got an email the other day from SciFi Weekly asking for permission to use my image Scenic View: Omega Prime on the next "cover" !!! I think that the feedback I've gotten (I take all critique seriously ... thats how we learn)from the talented pool of artists here hepled to make that possible ... thanks to all, and you all rock! tb42
