Description
This tiger is kept in a tiny cage on the indian reservation in Cherokee, North Carolina. He's obviously very unhappy. They also keep bears in concrete pits where you can toss fruit bits down to them. And ring-tail lemurs, also in a very small cage. Much like zoos must have been a hundred years ago in the US and today in Third-World countries. Overall, a depressing place, and I'd love the chance to feed the tiger a few Cherokees.

There is far too much of this going on. I appreciate you taking a stand aginst it. Shamefully our government turns thier backs to it. Exposing others to it is at least a good start, and perhaps the only chance these poor precious animals may have. I can't imagine how you must have felt, being so close to him and unable to do anything for him. It's a beautiful picture of a tragedy.

Put them in the cage and set the tiger free... or better yet put them in the cage with the tiger and let tiger have its dinner and then set him free !! This is just awful... excellent picture though !! Excellent !!

"Feed the tiger a few Cherokees"? Is'nt that a little politically incorrect? Aw what the heck...one would think that a people who had been somewhat caged themselves would have more sense than to cage an animal in such a way but we all can use a bit more wisdom and this is a good example of it.
