I have no Idea what sort of Cactus it is but it was given to me as a Christmas present when it was a weeee little thing, It now stands at 3ft and produces these exceptionally exquisite Red Flowers that have grown bigger each year along with the Cactus. I didnt know that a Cactus could produce something so beautiful !! hope Yah Like :-) The photo was taken with my Fuji Finepix S5000 6Mbpix Macro set to On

When I saw the thumbnail I felt like there are two spidys inside two flowers but what I see is much more beautiful than that. bravos!!!:O))

Nice! I would say it's a "Trichocereus" (but some say this genus fits inside "Echinopsis"). Echinopsis use to be more globular, while Trichocereus gets taller.
