Welcome to Dreamer's Wish Studios. I am Beth Carroll. Many of you know me as "Newpy". Years ago, a friend of mine suggested I visit Renderosity and I have been here ever since. I became interested in the many forms of art shown here and have come to know many fine artists. I have been blessed with many friendships. Some of them, I am sad to say are no longer with us for one reason or another. They and their artwork are greatly missed.
I work mainly with Fractals and Photography, but I also work with Poser. I have dabbled also with Terragen, Vue, and some mixed media.
I hope as you browse my gallery that you will be inspired to try some of these forms of art. I am always learning and I would love to hear your opinion. I would also like to thank my friends here at Renderosity for your friendships and encouragement. I have watched many of you grow in your artwork and I have been inspired. I am grateful for the many artists willing to give their input. I look forward to many more years here looking at marvelous works.

Nice extreme pov, and it's good that you're experimenting with surfaces. Try way less bump and fractal noise on your snow surface and have a few differently coloured foliage layers, and fowatch out for the end of terrain blackness bug on the right (either lower sky or pov, or increase size of sky)

As coordinator (or sometimes known as un-coordinator)of this gallery a hearty welcome to you! Please feel welcome to post, keep an open mind to suggestions - Eoin is right about sky - just make its size bigger. Other than that, a good shot.

Hi Beth! Welcome! I like the extreme perspective, but you might want to zoom back in a bit for a more realistic look (if that's what you like). great first try! You were even daring enough to do snow. :~)

Welcome and nice first image! I seldom go more than a 90 degree zoom on the camera angle, it causes too much distortion of the terrain, etc. Nonetheless, as prutz says, the effect here of the wide shot gives a dynamic feeling of movement. Better than my first!
