Combo WM and photoshop terrain. No surface overlays used (yes, I know the tiling is a little obvious in this pov!).
Gorgeous atmo (and it really makes this pic, imo) by Paul Clavette (pclavett).

Paul reflects my thoughts on your work here. Many attempts have been made at dunes with sand ripples. However, this is the very best I have ever seen. The atmosphere is breathtaking. There is only one word better than excellent; it is 'Masterpiece'!
