Description
Polar Summertime
More proof for the natives' belief that smaller was better, as shown by the sacred pyramids. We traveled to the polar realms by slud team (pulled by sluglike creatures) used to the windchill factor produced by the boreal temperatures and the eternal howling winds of WindC (pronounced windsy). There we found that the standard dozen-kilometer spires were severely eroded by the snow, ice, and hail particles carried by the ceaseless aerial currents.
Here on WindC, the ancient children's choosing game is: Wind cuts Rock, Rock rips through Paper, Paper (kites) conquers Wind...

Great Image Spike, depicting excellent rock forms. Suggestion: Have you tried to add a low cloud bank to the planet with a lot of noise & streaked, then the sense of "ceaseless aerial currents" would be better depicted IMO only. Great POV, looks like the dawn of a day after the Night Storms :-)

agree with woz's suggestion about cloud layer

Love the lighting in this, shows off the materials in the foreground spire and catches the reflectons in the water...great shot of this beautifully eroded planet!
