Description

This is the other side of the Tree of Life shown in The Puzzle. I thought you might want to see the animals on the other side. There is quite a mixture here. Can you find the giraffe? The monkey? The scorpion? Note: I have really appreciated everyone's support of my work and I am honored that you have liked it and stuck with me over the past 3-1/2 years through thick and thin. Your words have meant quite a bit. As some may know, I suffer from Neuropathy, which is a painful and dehabilitating muscle disorder. I try not to get into too much detail about it publicly, but I'm afraid that I've gotten to the point where it affects how I've responded to folks and in my own opinion, I've been rude by not answering IM's and commenting on some great works as I should. I feel quite bad that my participation on Rosity has been very limited as of late due to this. This last two weeks have been very stressful and life changing bringing it all home rather painfully. The time I can spend on the computer mostly has to go towards the work I do, to earn money/keep my insurance. Even though I'm not going to be homeless anytime soon, it's still good to earn for the future in case things go further south and of course, insurance is always important. The bad part is it leaves little for play and rendering. I am not quitting and this isn't a goodbye letter. It's just that I can't participate as much as I have been, but I still want to and think there may be still some images in this old body left. I wish I could do more, but all I can do is be honest. I hope my aloofness, both now and in the future, isn't mistook and that you will all forgive me. And if ya get a chance, the time, the motivation to drop me a word or two, it will be much appreciated to let me know someone is still viewing them. I will try to do the same, though I can't promise I'll get to everyone all the time. Your friend, ShadowWind Photography/Photoshop This picture was taken at Disney's Animal Kingdom in Orlando Florida by myself back in May 2004. It was shot with an Olympus C740UZ 3 megapixel digital and had a slight color correction in photoshop. Original image was 1600x1200.

Shadow, first of all, I love your work. You always give all you have to it and we see it in every photo and stroke. You have been through a great deal this past year and I know as someone with a very disabling disability, that the stress of life when it is completely normal is hard on our health. It is so much more difficult when we are placed at the mercy of the weather and whatever else comes our way. Do not worry, we will always be here for you. You are my friend and have been from the time I first came here. I will always be just a keystroke away if you ever need me. I know that all of your friends feel the same way. Just try to take some time for yourself and relax. You need that after the year you've had. Take care my friend and God bless you. Have a wonderful day!...Cheryl

I hope you feel better. I too have a medical condition. Mine is not as deep as yours, but it still causes problems. Your work is amazing and it has me looking at your gallery as often as possible. Thank you for sharing yourself with us.

To be honest, I think your health is more important than our works and I guess that if you just visit our works without commenting could add a little light in your life from time to time! In my opinion, is not us to judge whether you comment or not on our work; doesn't really matter! All that matters is that you have to try to get in a better condition in order to have a wonderful life ahead; R'osity is just a little part of you, after all! I know that somehow you'll manage to get by, and we will hear gret news about you soon! Big Hugs Take care of you!

When I saw the first image you posted of this tree, I thought it was one of the best photos I'd ever seen. This one definitely re-enforces my opinion of your photographic ability. And of course, the subject is universal size awesome.

I love trees. If I had my way I would live in a treehouse and this would be something I would love to have duplicated.I am sorry to hear about your illness and I will keep you in my prayers ,if that is O.K. with you.I have always felt honored that an artist of your caliber even comments on my second rate work and you have always been very supportive. Please do not feel you have been amiss in anyway,I have no indication that it is so.Sending much positive healing energy your way.Blessings..Michele
