Very old cross. Don't know the origin. I don't understand the language, maybe chirilic. I don't know !

Thank you Tony. GiMi53 This cross is in Romania, on the way from Buzau to some place called "Vulcanii Noroiosi", some place like a volcano but with mud, not lava. The picture was taken about 3 years ago, on a kodak film camera and scanned. I can send you the full picture and pictures in the area. I don't understand the signs on the cross and that's why I think there is some old language.

The details on this cross are very interesting, too bad we can read it eh? I love how you got the background in focus too, usually this distracts us from the main subject, but in this photo it doesnt, and I love the overall view or the location. Brilliant capture =)

I used a film-camera with multiple focus points and this is the way it "went" out ...I will try to reach that area again ... not quite now ( coz Lary wants to go to too - this is the way to "Muddy Volcanos" ) and to capture a better quality pic with my digi camera.
