Description

This is part three of my SciFi Pin-Up series. I'm currently really fascinated what can be done with lights, so I played a little bit with it to achieve the effect I was looking for. The image contains 4 round lights only, two for each lamp plus an additional one on the left lamp and a big one in the middle of the object on the wall. I also played with different materials and bumpmap settings, to highlight the contrast of the soft skin, the reflective metals and the flagstone's rough surface. I hope you like it. The original size is around 2200x2200 and it took ages to render in ultra mode...about 92 hours! Anyway I believe the waiting paid off. ;) Comments and suggestions most welcome as always. Oh my! This is one of your best so far. I love the unique lighting and that wall texture is superb. 92 hours seems like an eternity to me, but it definitely was worth it. Double Bravo from me!

I don't usually comment on pinup type images, but the texturing caught my eye and it really is very well done artistically. The textures and detailing are extremely good and the lighting and highlights are supurb. Again, this isn't "my thing," but I can still acknowledge your excellent craftsmanship.

92HRS!! Yiiiiikes, Phil! Sure hope ya got another 'puter to play with while waiting as that's a long time to watch pixels develop!LOL! Like BK, I am not a regular pinup commenter, but this is NOT a regular pinup! Superb work! Just a thought?...but maybe as an alternative title..."Here's lookin' at ya, kid" '-)
