I think this is a piece that is finished. It screams plenty of things. Adding anything more would lessen perfection.

I love it! And I think I agree... less is more sometimes.

You've managed to get the point across Wonderfully! You could probably touch something like this up endlessly but it already says everything it needs to say.

What they said. It's haunting. Send it to newspapers.

I think this is outstanding and I would not change anything about it. It spins off several view points. I'm curious as to yours that moved you to create this.

[/quote] I saw this picture in a dream first, as I do with most of my truly inspired works. the same thing with "Fallen". (see my gallery) http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=371572&Start=37&Artist=Eromanric&ByArtist=Yes I actually started working on this between 9/11 and the first assault on Baghdad. I don't hate the USA, I just hate war. I honestly don't see why we can't get along.

;.....this work is haunting and makes a strong statement -- quite well done - but war is unfortunately a fact of life - just as lower-base animal elements are still deeply ingrained within us -- you will wish for peace until someone that hates you sticks a gun in your head --- still --- I understand where you're coming from -- I refused to go to Vietnam in the sixties -- but the world is not as simple and "good" as I once thought - we've got a LONG way to go.

I must agree with those above who say the work is perfect the way it is.

A beautiful piece, with excellent technique and even deeper involving style.

Outstanding work! It's going to be repetative to say "leave it alone" and "less is more in this case" but it's still true. This piece is finished. Definately get it published someplace. Congratulations.

Again, I can only add fantastic. As a person with a Warrior's heart I can say that war is the last tihing I desire, but if it is needed, then I sort of quote Orwell. People sleep peacefully at night because Rough Men stand ready to do violence on their Behalf. SEMPER FROG!
