Description

In deep depression, We build walls, close off the outside world. It becomes just too much to bear. We scream and no one ever hears, The screaming is fading in our brains. We just want to go to sleep and never wake up. Sometimes, we forget to shut all the windows. A look out that window, Brings a hope, A will, To Survive. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have Genetic Depression and every day is a battle. The Black hole is always with me. The wonderful news is there are some Great Psychiatrist, With wonderful drugs. (For real depression do not go to your family doctor. They do not understand or are not competed to handle this.) This picture is for all of you who suffer from depression. Thank you for looking, and I appreciate all the support the people here have given me.

Extremely strong pic Leah! I also had my periods of deep depressions, Ive been to doctors and on medication too, but today I just fight that devil on my own..Ive learned to live with it and I even accept it more than how I felt on drugs..not saying that its bad with medications but for me its better to not take them cuz they killed so much of what really are me..Big Hugs

{{{{LEAH}}}} I know how much you suffer and I also have a good friend with depression. It is the most debillitating illness, known to man. I also would like to echo the sentiment of your sister. You do bring a rainbow into so many of our lives and hope that we are there for you also. This is such a touching piece. Superb and emotive work. Excellent! Steve :o)

Such an ever so touching image Leah,, Your work has been one I have admired for a great long time. Since I arrived at Rosity in fact. So sorry to hear of your illness and pleased that you have found the help you need to beat this. Your renders are always a pleasure to view. Sometimes funny and definately superbly beautiful. You always seem to have the ability to capture that beauty in your own unique way. Prayers to you hon,,, Have a "Happy Thanksgiving" All the best ,, Huge Hugsssss Linda :-)

I don't think I have ever heard someone say something that made more sense than that. I know all too well about this and it has ruined more than one good thing in my life. Going through it again this month, as my husband is leaving us behind and moving on with his life. My heart goes out to you and to all the others that suffer from this. Depression is not a copout, but a disease that should be treated as such by tender gentle people.

Leah, I, too suffer from depression. It is a constant daily battle for the past 10 years. I cannot identify with the noose but with the distant look of her eyes and need for a change of scenery. Love and Hugs to you and her...

I want you to know, I feel your pain. As you know now, there is hope. Almost 35 years of my life were lost because of the Dark Storms. Yet the past six I've learned to live again due to the very reasons you have mentioned.

Wow another image that I see by you that fits how I feel right now. I have a new baby and a new life but my ex is trying to take our two kids from me completly and I have fallen into a deep depression some days it is almost too hard just to get out of bed. But my lil window is Ryan and our new baby boy. Without them I would be totaly lost. A wonderful image ((Hugs))

Excellent use of facial expression and body posture! The noose to the side is a little creepy but gets the point across. The face is really what captures me here, the way the head tilts and eyebrows and mouth slant down. Beautiful work!
