A Storm Trooper dressed in Powered Assault Armor and armed with a Force Axe takes a shortcut to the enemy. With beam weapons in the forearms and a shoulder mounted mini-missile launcher the Trooper is well armed for the modern battlefield. With its tough duraloy armor, enhanced strength, rocket pack, and extensive sensor/jammer suite a trooper outfitted in Assault Armor is a formidable foe. The Axe is for getting up close and personal! ;) All new Wings models for this one. The Armor was made and posed in Wings because I'm too lazy to set it up in Poser. It is pretty easy to pose simple figures in Wings and since I only use a model for a couple of picts it saves me time. Once the trooper was posed, the set was built around it. I used volume textures in Bryce for the smoke and such. I used this project to test out my new computer(more speed is bliss!) I put the models up at the link below if anyone wants to try them out or hack 'em up. They are in wings format because the wings file format is pretty small. (Wings is free - so download it already!)
