Description
It was a crystal-clear... a few nights before now. The milky way was visible. But the best object in the sky was this star group: The plajades. "Siebengestirn" we call it in Germany. Freely translated that means " Seven stars". But if you watch it carefully, you can see, that this group has some more stars...

Indeed, 7 stars but far more when watched with telescope! Excellent work, Reinhard, verrry beautiful! Even the different colors of the stars can be seen, and those 7 bright stars appear rather bluish.

Great shot well done. I've just seen Saturns rings for the first time ever last night. I bought a telescope a couple of months ago and last night it was high enough in the sky to see in the evening. (Another life long ambition gone). what a thrill. Its just below Gemini now.
