BIO
I went to Edinburgh College of Art in the seventies. I wove tapestries for years and paint in oils. I like photography, learning classical guitar and lacemaking. I enjoy cycling, walking, reading, films.

This is a picture of desolation. I wonder what drove people away from living here. A scene full of realism! But, I wouldn't sleep here at night!!!!

Fantastic photograph...great location and lighting...looks like a place where the Earth might move alot...I wouldn't want to be walking down that street when it did...I'll bet if you really started seriously digging around in the rubble there are many treasures to find.

such a desolate feeling in all the rubble, the vegetation trying it's best to reclaim it back to the land... maybe posting a little smaller will make it easier to view :]

Sad to see such beautiful places abandond and left to nature and her efforts to reclaim the landscape. What ever the reason for the desolation, it is a beautiful place where once life took center stage.
